Pub Favorites
Black Velvet
Guinness & cider. The drink was first made by a bartender of Brooks's Club in London in 1861 to mourn the death of Prince Albert, Queen Victoria's Prince Consort. It is supposed to symbolize the black armbands worn by mourners. It was said that “even the champagne should be in mourning.” Today, the drink is not exclusive to mourning. A traditional black velvet is made by mixing equal parts of stout and champagne. a “poor man’s” black velvet is made with Guinness & cider.
Flanagan's Black & Tan
Guinness & Lager. (aka Half and Half) A traditional Black & Tan is made with Guinness and Bass. In Ireland, it's best to order this drink as a "Half and Half" to avoid the offensive historical connotations of the name, which refers to a British paramilitary force from the 1920s. A Half & Half is typically made with Harp. Locally, these are not readily available so have been replaced with our tap lager.

Guinness & Smithwicks. A lighter, refreshing blend, perfect for a hot day when Guinness seems a bit heavy.
Snake Bite
Cider & Lager. The original Irish Pub "seltzer." A refreshing blend of cider and lager for those who think cider is a bit to sweet.

Cider, Lager & black currant concentrate. A fruity version of the Snake Bite.
Original Flanagan's Car Bomb
